Being new to Bambu studio - is there some place where I can configure filament specific print speed?
I’m not asking about the maximum volumetric speed (mm³/s), I’m interested print head speed during extrusion (mm/s). Is it possible to set this per filament?
Nope, but the max flow rate essentially does the same thing by limiting the print speed. If you turn it down, it will slow down the max speed. You can also make as many custom print profiles as you want for whatever speeds you need.

Is there some way to see how fast the print head is moving during the print. Interested in speeding it up, unless it is already go the max rated speed for the filament.
The slicer will show you print speed in the preview tab.
Have you tried printing in Sport/Ludicrous mode?
Thanks for reply. I will look. The next time I slice a project . I tryed sport mode for about 30 seconds once got scared that the printer was going to 
into space. I am in the middle of a 21 hour print so hope to make it through that
