Looking for anyone that has successfully done this… Two AMS-HTs and one AMS 2 Pro.
One HT would be for the right hot end (mainly support materials) and the second would need a PTFE line splitter so my AMS 2 Pro and second HT would be connected to the left hot end.
I’ve heard issues with splitters, so I am looking for something that has a track record for working.
I have that type of setup on my H2C and my X2D. For the X2D, Bambu recommends using the old 4-to-1 adapter if you will use the filament switch module. If not, you can use the 4-to-1 Adapter II (dark gray-black) version. I have not had a single issue with the adapters. The issue you will run into is your PTFE tube lengths (high resistance) in most of my cases and if your PTFE tube isnt’ straight coming into the buffer. After you get the PTFE tubes situated, you are golden.
I recommend that you run the AMS setup several times to make sure the filament is running through the adapter to the buffer smoothly. I have 1 AMS 2 Pros and an HT going to my main nozzle and 2 AMS Pros and an HT going to my auxiliary nozzle to the Filament Track Switch. Not saying the Amazon version wouldn’t work but I personally wouldn’t trust it since these printers can be finicky.
