Hi all,
My P2S has been working very well. I’ve done some iterations on a print early in the week. When I tried again last night, same print, same settings, the first layers go down and stick to the bed but then it’s like the filament is not sticking to itself.
I’ve re-calibrated, tried different filaments, tried different nozzles, used silent mode, cleaned the plate, all have the same problem. The only thing that happened between the good print and now is that I put the AMS dryer on for 12 hours with standard PLA settings.
Photo attached. Any insights welcome. Thanks.
All I see here is support structure - does any part of your model touch the bed - i.e., does any of the actual model get printed on the first layer?

Hi, thanks for the reply. Yes, there are 2 small touch points but your comment triggered a thought. I went back to the recording of the successful print and notice the base is much larger. I’ve made some adjustments and started it going. Fingers crossed.

The print came out great!
I’m new to printing but should have figured this out.
Thanks again.

Awesome, glad you’re back up and running!
We all started somewhere, don’t feel bad. Mistakes are great teachers!
