Filament storage

has any one else noticed that sweet boxes from the supermarkets (ie. swizzle sweet treats)are just the right size for storing filament ,and it is easy to install a hygrometer to the outside. they are airtight , stackable and as they were most likely a present , free.

i wish i had known about this forum before i bought those 27gallon black and yellow tote bins from the home center

Sound great… if only I knew what a swizzle sweet treat is? A picture is worth a thousand words and it may also come to shock you there are people in this forum… that are from … elsewhere

If you’re going to post something, it’s considered courteous to provide a link or at least identify what part of the world these things can be found. Many things go by different names. As an example, Proctor & Gamble’s Dawn dishwashing detergent which is so often mentioned in this forum as good build plate cleaning product. However, in some of the other parts of the world, the exact same product is often tinted blue and is marketed under the brand Fairy Liquid. Outside of that, they are the same.
