Good evening everyone, i am wanting to print a small impellar for a waterpump. The impeller is only 23mm dia. And 13mm in depth, what would the best filament to use. It will have to spin at max 10,000rpm.
Can this be accomplished.
Regards Carl

The best would be resin, not a FDM printer…
I would use RESIN if you have it. PETG to experiment if you don’t. I am using more and more PETG these days as it is proving easy and durable for most of my projects.
Ignore - posting to be able to start a thread.
With that small of a part, you might try a 95A or 98A TPU. TPU has great layer adhesion and the 98A TPU is relatively stiff.

10K RPM? What is the diameter. I would be very leery of the balance of an FDM printed impeller. Short of printing it solid.
