I start to load the AMS. The filament goes in a short way and then stops. When it extrudes, there is a flat surface that looks like the AMS squeezed it. Every AMS slot is doing this and I haven’t found any clogs or wires undone. Please help. It is doing this with every filament type, silk or PLA, bambu lab too.
Check the PTFE paths — I’m fairly certain there’s some broken filament lodged in your tubes.
I’ll try that. Thank you.
Hi, good evening,
sorry to bother you but i have the same problem as you, the ams is going crazy. additionally, i have checked the PTFE tubes, the extruder, all the ams parts but there is nothing strange, no jamming or anything like that.
could it be a firmware error.
before i didn’t have this problem.
is my first comment in this forum. thank you very much.
I am all of a sudden having the same problem. I’ve taken it apart, restarted, self-tested, calibrated, checked cables numerous times and my AMS is still blinking red. I did get it to work this morning but it started blinking red while printing. I am so confused.
Can you post a photo of the “squeezed” filament?
