Finally tried fixing high temp fan switching

When I received the printer, the rear flaps were out of place. I was able to get them back in position, but whenever I prjnt with the chamber heater on, I get these errors.

So, on Saturday, I finally decided to look at it. When I first pulled the cover off, the fan was shoved all the way forward on the side that would be in front of the gear. I found the broken mount pieces. Looks like the sensor is alo broken from its plastic mount and the large plastic gear is probably sitting in the bottom of the rear compartment.

I was going to fix it myself, but looks like some large plastic parts need replaced. Opened a ticket. Only posting here for anybody that gets the same errors.

Im amazed the gear doesnt always snap off, based on how it’s mounted to the motor.

If only you owned a machine that could make plastic replacement parts.

Wouldn’t it be awesome if they posted .stl’s for replacement plastics. The gear to motor situation would be a tough one though. I havnt looked, but I bet the fan mounts to a huge piece of plastic that now needs replaced too.

This is what needs replaced, so far.
