Find out who took home the H2D by selling Commercial License on MW!

Dear Creators,
Since the launch of MakerWorld’s Commercial License Membership, over 1,000 creators have started selling commercial licenses on our platform—adding a new revenue stream alongside their existing points and cash rewards.

On February 20th, we informed all eligible creators of an event to reward the top Commercial License Membership seller by March 31st with our latest printer.
Now, we’re thrilled to announce that the top-selling creator (by revenue) who will take home the H2D Laser Full Combo (10W) is SabreDesign!

Congratulations! The competition was fierce, especially among the Top 5 sellers.
Stay tuned—we’ll have more exciting promotions to boost commercial license sales soon!

To help you maximize your success, here are some useful tips to increase commercial license sales:

1. Optimize Headers & Footers

  • Adding a Membership purchase tab (like the Boost tab) is one of the most effective ways to drive sales. When users find a high-quality model, they’re more likely to purchase a license on the spot.

  • The Header/Footer feature lets you customize descriptions across all your models, ensuring maximum visibility for your commercial offerings.

2. Leverage All Three Pricing Tiers

  • Premium pricing works! For example, if you invest time in creating quality model photos, charge more for members who want to use them directly in product listings—many customers will pay extra for this advantage.

  • Consider dedicating a tier to commissioned work—an innovative way to attract high-value buyers.

  • By diversifying your membership options, you can appeal to a wider audience and increase your earnings.

If you meet the eligibility criteria (200+ followers, 600+ prints, and no rule violations in the last 90 days) but haven’t set up your Commercial License Membership yet—now’s your chance! Head to your Creator Center and look for the “Commercial License Membership” tab to begin.

Well-established creators from other platforms can contact models@makerworld.com to receive an invitation to our program.

Don’t miss out on this great oppourtunity to boost your income while helping your members earn too!

They do use a lot of rendered images (which is a whole other topic), but calling their designs AI is quite unfair.

I’ve seen atro do it

I’m 100% sure SabreDesign doesn’t use AI generated models, however all their cover images are very nice renders (fortunately to scale)

You got me! I’m a sourpuss :face_holding_back_tears:

This is correct. Sabre has 0% AI input. All Models are designed and rendered in Fusion 360.

Congrats to SabreDesign, I can see how so many people would subscribe!
