Firmware 01.08 broke my AMS

Model: P1S with AMS
AMS stopped feeding filament. The printer heated up and did nothing. It loaded filament normally when filament was inserted in the feed tube. I opened the AMS and ran filament through all paths but still wouldn’t feed. I opened the magnet structure for a look.

I thought firmware! And downgraded from 01.08 to 01.06 and the AMS worked.

What mods have you done on printer?
Anything at all, however much it may seem totally unrelated?
Light, G-Code, Touchscreen?
