Hello, I am so helpless, after I upgraded to the latest firmware my PS1 doesn’t work anymore, it doesn’t put any fillament on the disk, it doesn’t extrude anymore, what can I do ? Can anyone help me? I have already opened a ticket, but it will take some time until I get an answer.
Thanks Siegfried
while im glad that many do upgrade the firmware and discover the bugs lurking in each one I havent done new firmware updates on my machines since last january when my printers were basically bricks for a week until they released a patch to clear it up. Since i have a prototyping business that kinda hurt so I now wait for the firmware to be patched and stable before ill update. I kinda dislike how the printers are constantly reminding you there is a firmware update available, but id also likely not know there was one unless it told me or i came on here and read about it.
Hey there!
First of all, restart everything and see if the connections are working App/PC/Printer.
Does it move? Do the fans and bed work?
Give us some more info pls or add a video.
I upgraded to 1.5.0.0 (need to the update to the latest) and then calibrated via the control on the printer. This is NOT the same as calibrating from BambuStudio. I am printing fine, not as loud, and just as flawless as before.
Not trying to gloat or something, just stating that the update is working at least for some of us.

So, I did some testing now. I can at least say that after resetting, restarting, calibrating from the printer and not via app/studio and re-calibrating flow and K-value for my previously calibrated filament, I was able to get some good results.
Not sure what did it, but for now things are OK. Though the first time when I tried the update+calibration a few days back the printer head was moving visibly at an uneven pace, making rumbling sounds while printing the purge line. That has usually nothing to do with flow or pressure advance.
@NVNDO: Not sure if calibration locally on the device is actually pulled from the server, I guess calibration should work in lan only mode too, so they probably store a copy? Now if the version on the server (sent from Studio / App) is not exactly the same as baked into the last update… Could be a difference there.
Anyhow, that’s just guessing. For now, using local calibration and redoing flow / pressure advance, things look a bit better.
First of all thank you for the quick response, the device is working again, after I did a factory reset and the problem was still there I noticed that the print head was clogged. So there was no causal link between the firmware upgrade and my problem, it was probably just an unfortunate coincidence of events
Thank you very much
I do not see a major improovement back to the printing results i had the first days. It seems that i need to raise temperatures in an amount of 10-15 °C to get back to the surface and print results i was having back then.
Is there a way to check or recalibrate the thermo-sensors?
