Hi,
Starting with the upgrade to 01.04.00.00, my printer became inaccessible through Bambu Studio or Orca Slicer. I can only access it through my smartphone. I’ve already reported this issue to support. Their initial solution was to install an older version of Bambu Studio, which I did, but unfortunately, it didn’t solve the problem. The printer is online (network issues can be ruled out), it can be renamed, but that’s it. However, I can start any print from MakerWorld using my smartphone without any issues.
Subsequently, I tried downgrading the firmware to 01.03.01.02. During the upgrade, the printer is detected, and the AMS is also displayed. After the upgrade, the printer remains accessible until I restart Bambu Slicer. Then, the AMS disappears, and it only says “connecting…” at the top.
Just for fun, I started the upgrade to 01.04.00.00 again using my smartphone. The AMS is displayed, and the printer is accessible. The upgrade completed successfully.
However, after the upgrade, no filament is displayed on the AMS. Everything is displayed correctly in the Bambu app on my smartphone.
After reopening Bambu Studio, the AMS is gone again, and the printer is shown as inaccessible…
If I unplug the AMS, the printer becomes immediately accessible. If I plug it back in, the AMS is displayed but cannot be used.
Apparently, the firmware upgrade to 01.04.00.00 somehow corrupted my AMS. However, during the firmware upgrade and downgrade process, the AMS firmware updates are displayed in Bambu Slicer.
Has anyone else encountered this problem? Do you have any idea what else I can do? Unfortunately, I couldn’t find a factory reset for the AMS. Is there such a thing?
Factory resetting the printer did not help.
Thank you very much in advance.
