Well, the machine arrived about 2-1/2 hours ago. Assembly went smoothly, everything looked fine, so I tried the scraper. No issues apart from the speed, compared to my old Ender 3. Wow!
Benchy was next - 16-plus minutes as advertised.
Then I had to try one of my boats - it took 5 hours on the
Ender, 1 hour and 10 minutes on the P1S. And a better print overall.
I’m sure I’ll have questions, and moan some (that’s obligatory, right?) but for now colour me happy.

My first moan besides the apparent lack of filament in my cupboard was wth do I print next 
. Great intro to the Bambu world, I had similar intro with a literally smooth transition from a reasonably well running ender (they do exist). The speed the thing moves still catches me out, be wary of this when you go to flick that stray bit of filament off the plate while running. Just remember you can’t stop at one, finances are the only thing holding me back from the third.
If your Ender 3 is working fine, it can still be used to print TPU filaments that are too soft to use on Bambu Lab printers. TPU and some other filaments are supposed to be printed in slow speed anyway.
The following is from Bambu Lab Wiki, a great source for both new and experienced users of BL printers.
Choose TPU with the appropriate hardness. In the industry, there are different hardness levels available for TPU. Here they are listed in descending order: 77D > 70D > 55D > 95A > 85A > 83A > 80A > 75A > 70A.
TPUs with hardness levels of 95A, 85A, 83A, and 80A are moderately hard and can be printed using Bambu printers (higher hardness levels have lower risks of print failures).
On the other hand, TPUs with hardness levels of 75A, 70A, or lower should not be printed using Bambu printers. These softer TPUs are prone to getting flattened by the extruder wheel, which can cause clogging issues.
Admittely, It can take some reacquaintance to using an Ender 3 after getting spoiled by BL printers
Very soon you may encounter strange issue, just be prepared to replace no name SD card to some good one.
My printer has around 800 print hours now and haven’t encountered the sdcard issue yet.
