Hi everyone, I have some strange issues on some area’s of my print. It’s not consistent for the entire layer. I have cleaned the build plate with soap and water before the last print. I do this regularly but sometimes I go a while without cleaning it and I have never seen this isuse. I am using the same filament as the model creator and I don’t think it’s an issue with the model that’s why I am asking for your advice.

It is possible that the height is not calibrated correctly.

Did you continue printing, I have had this happen once in awhile, It shouldn’t effect the rest of the print, so long as the corners don’t curl and the bottom looks ok, I wouldn’t worry about it. It wouldn’t hurt to run a full calibration test from the maintenance page per Tolik979s comment.

I did continue the print (it’s still printing). Unfortunately the corners on the back sides have lifted, so I guess that sounds more like a bed adhesion problem? I will do the calibration after this print, thank you both!
I actually have an ever bigger problem as my display screen has frozen and I still need to manually change my filament one more time. Luck is not on my side for this print…
You might have to use some glue on the corners, I used the one that looks like a big chap stick. I also have the green liquid one, used it once and it did nothing for me. I see you are using a smooth plate, I have never used one, just the gold colored textured plate, so maybe my suggestions don’t apply to your problem. The lack of heat along the back side, or cooling off of the plate, glue would help there too. Hope it turned out.
Hi, thanks for your message and advice! I was using the gold textured plate that came with the printer but since the print has such a big surface the glue stick would probably have been smart. I will get the one you mentioned.
I managed to continue and finish the print after turning the printer off and on again. It turned out fine since the model is in the box mostly anyway. I went to the calibration process and my next print was fine again. Thanks!
