First Layer Adhesion Issues w/ Cool Plate Super Tak Pro

Hello, I am wondering if anyone else has had the same issue I am encountering with the P2S and the new Cool Plate Supertak Pro.

My Setup:

  • P2S
  • Cool Plate Supertak Pro
  • 0.2mm nozzle

Notes: I have tried performing a calibration, washing the plate with warm water and soap, and drying the filament thoroughly.

The problem:
When printing with the Cool Plate Super Tak Pro, the toolhead tries to print too far away from the plate, resulting in adhesion issues and failed first layers.
Even the print start line does not adhere to the plate, as you can see from the following clip.

I have already reported the issue to Bambu’s technical support team, but I have noticed a lack of discussions around this topic online so I wanted to share it myself.

I have already tried that. I should also note that with all other plates I have (Textured PEI & Smooth High Temp) I don’t have any issues.
This only happens when I use the Cool Plate Supertak (I have selected it in the slicer too of course)

On my A1, I used a supertack plate (the regular grey one) for a long time and it was great. I saw there was a ‘Pro’ version and thought I would replace it as it had some wear. The first layer is so bad with ridges (I think too close) that the second layer sounds like it’s grating as it hits all the ridges.

Not considering the plate change, with Bambu’s support I trammed the bed, I tightened screws, I replaced hot ends, I even tried the extruder gear and tool head board to see where the issue was. And yes, I ran the calibration countless times, after each change. I finally changed plates out of desperation and it started working perfectly. I believe the textured plate even worked when I still had the slicer on SuperTack.

When I submitted to Bambu about my revelation they told me the Pro plate didn’t exist and I must be using a third party and that was my issue. So I sent them my invoice and link to their own website…they offered me a replacement. This is all very confusing. (Today I was offered the replacement).

Meanwhile I have a SuperTack Pro plate coming in today for my new P2S and I’m quite concerned…
