First layer PLA is perfect height, but PETG is too far away from bed

I have a P2S with AMS. I am trying to use PLA as the support material. However, I cannot dial in the first layer for PLA and PETG at the same time. When I get the first layer perfect for PLA, the PETG first layer is too high.

I am adjusting the first layer using the “Machine start G-code” in the printer settings. When I use “G29.1 Z{0.0075};” then the first layer PLA is perfect. However, the PETG first layer is too far away from the bed.

How do I change the first layer distance for PLA versus PETG when I am using both filaments in the same print? Thanks!

Adjusting the “squish” isn’t the way to do this as it adjusts the entire first layer across all filaments. You need to adjust your first layer flow rate for each filament individually.
