My first layer of the support layer is not close enough and it is not laying flat. What setting do i adjust. This is on the default settings for support.
I am on the .28 extra draft preset.
Plus the fans is at 100% when putting down this layer which makes it seem like the layer barely has time to rest on the support. The fan basically blows it all over the place.
The setting to adjust that gap is “Top Z Distance” under the support tab. If you have the capabilities I would highly highly recommend using a compatible support material for the support interface. If you’re printing in PLA, you can use PETG (and the other way around).
I tried using PETG as support interface and the first layer above the support didn’t stick to it all and the fan just blew it everywhere.
