First print, nothing happened

I got my new A1 Combo and set it up. Lubed it. Got a firmware update. I don’t have spools of filament yet, so I’m using what it shipped with. I loaded it into port 1 of the AMS light. I attempted to print a benchy. This failed because it didn’t feed the filament all the way through. I canceled the print, pushed the filament all the way in until it stopped. I attempted to reprint the benchy. This time, no filament error. However, it never printed anything. The print head was moving like it should be printing, but nothing was extruding. I see a little nub of what I think is the white filament extending from the extruder, but that’s it. I stopped the print and came here. Advice on how to proceed? Thanks.

In the AMS, hold down the button, push the filament through till you feel the motor grab it & let go of the button. It will pull the filament about 1/2 way through the tube. When you start the print it will pull it through the rest of the way & purge.

@lion7718 that’s what I did the first time. The motor pulled it about half through, but when I did the print it errored for no filament.

On the screen click the filament button, make you AMS is on, if it’s the same as the A1 Mini, it should be green.

if AMS is enabled, the PLA dropdown says unmatched and I can’t start the print.

It says to select the filament manually, but I do not see an option to do that.

Ok. I’m printing now. I was able to specify the PLA from the touchscreen and now it’s working. Couldn’t figure out how to do that in app. Thank you.
