Just received a shipping notification for an A1 Mini (not combo) in Australia.
Ordered November 3 8pm.
My experience is that the first shipping notification happens when they pull paperwork but the actual package ships the next day or so.
Fingers crossed for an uneventful Australia Post transit.
I struggled a bit to see the A1 now available; maybe better value for money.
But I’ve been very happy with my X1 and bought the A1 mini to add a smaller, quieter machine for the 80% of things that I make that will fit on it and can be printing while the X1 is working on the harder stuff.
Now that the Mini is here, I’m happy with the decision.
I intend to use airtight boxes for the Mini’s filaments (mostly PETG and some TPU).
Maybe someone will hack an AMS to the Mini at some point in the future.
Fingers crossed that the Mini is as problem free as the X1.
I just got my shipping notification for my A1 mini (non combo) too! Now I gotta wait for Auspost to take it to my Freight Forwarder who will then give it BACK to Auspost, who will then put it on a plane to New Zealand. Then I gotta wait for customs to clear it, THEN wait for NZ Post to bring it to me.
Bambu decided not to sell direct to New Zealand and the local reseller decided not to sell the version without the AMS so it’s a bit of a headache for me to buy…
FWIW, AusPost deliveries are working pretty well these days.
Plus, the Mini’s packaging looks pretty drop resistant.
Fingers crossed for a quick and safe delivery for you.
I’m enjoying mine. It is a nice complement to my X1.
Lately, I’m running a .06 nozzle in the X1 and the stock .04 in the Mini.
I like being able to access both from the same slicer.
Yeah the mini seems like a great complement machine. I’m gonna keep it on my desk at work for a few months to try to get some of my colleagues into 3D printing so I will have IRL people to talk about it with (because the Prusas at work are not convincing anyone)
