First time printing with abs/asa

Makes sense. I need ASA for my current project because it will be in direct sunlight. What kind of stuff are you using asa for?

With an oily film on the glass/camera - won’t that mean that the whole inside of the printer is covered in that fumes? Permanently? :open_mouth:

Sure, but it’s not something I would worry about. I have thousands of hours of ABS printing on my printers and the interiors of my printers aren’t noticeable oily. It seems to condense more on the top and door glass which are easily cleanable.

If this is something that is worrisome then perhaps ABS and ASA printing isn’t for you.

And i have 15min.
Guess i was just a bit shocked since that topic is quite uncommon/unknown.

Looks like the idea of the bentobox isn’t that bad at all.

This looks like a print layer file issue.
On your slice plate hit Control A then right click on your print select merge or mesh the print before sending it to your slicer.
You should get a Notification that only positive parts remain. This will fix any layering issues of two separate pieces that you have merged together.
