Found Bearings

While waiting for parts to rebuild the tool head on my P1S I decided to turn the machine upside down to shake any debris out. When I turn the machine back up I found these two bearings. For the life of me I cannot find where these came from?

The thread rods have bearings and screws at the end (they work without that but it might wobble)

Those are all still in place.

The top part of the Z rods have them too?

Yes, they are all in place. The ones I found are a bit bigger than them.

Those are rollers/skateboard wheel bearings, any chance they do not come from the printer?

They came out of the printer after I turned it upside down. I don’t have any like that around here.

No clue then, I also have a P1S and I don’t think these are used anywhere in the printer.

Can’t tell the size from the photo. Bearings usually don’t come loose just because the printer is turned upside down, unless some parts were already taken apart. You mentioned that you are waiting for parts to rebuild too head. Is it possible these are from the hotend cooling fans or some other fans that was taken apart before?

If these are skate bearings, could they be from the AMS instead of the printer?

These are 608ZZ (8x22x7)

It’s a mystery how these got in there. They are defiantly not from the AMS, there nothing in there that size.

Did you happen to upgrade the external spool holder to use the bearings?

The idler pulleys also use 608zz bearings. But they shouldn’t come out this easily.

Bingo… I’m not too proud to admit, I’m an idiot!!! The are from the external spool holder that I printed. It’s been so long since I’ve used it, I didn’t even clue in.
