A while back I designed some replacement nozzles for a Wolfbox duster and recently I found them being sold on Amazon.
It’s a bit of a tricky situation because the design itself isn’t technically mine, I just measured the nozzles that came with my duster and 3D modelled them for print, but I still put in the work to make it a viable print.
Also they’re using the photo straight from my makerworld page.
What can I do about it? I tried going via amazon copyright report tool, but the only option that I could possibly follow, that being use of copyrighted images in the listing, is suspiciously greyed out. Hmph…

Report to Amazon that your rights have been violated in relation to the photo. If it doesn’t work via the report tool, contact support directly.
You will not be able to take legal steps regarding the design itself, as it has been around for quite some time. Both the original manufacturer and copycats have been producing it. A report in this regard would be pointless.
I don’t think you want to get into a dispute with a retailer or the original manufacturer. That’s why I would personally just go for the image. You can’t stop the actual sale anyway, since you have absolutely no rights to the design.
That’s the problem when you don’t design something yourself, but copy a design one-to-one. Understandable as a replacement part! It’s also great in that context: replacement part. But you have zero claim to anything.

Yeah, that’s what I was afraid of and wasn’t exactly expecting to enforce my intellectual property other than the image. Seeing as the report tool has the image option conveniently greyed out (why even have it?), I’ll contact support directly.

That is a bummer. The guy has 100s of 3D printed things for sale, I doubt he designed all of them. Good luck, let us know your results.
Almost all of them have been copied – but a few users could take action, like this one here – since he is part of the exclusive program at makerworld.

Oh man - sometimes I hate features on Makerworld. Of course, I can only send the user one message, and now the link is missing.

The actual rightsowner or an agent [makerworld, also any of your appointees] must be the one to fill it out.
Welcome to the club, I found my models on amazon, ebay, aliexpress, shein, temu, etsy and a dozen local platforms so far.
Sadly we are living in a world where other profit from your work without compensation, some of them are even bold enough to ask for more models they can pirate…
And then they wonder why you won’t share anything anymore.
What a shameful world we live in. Capitalism is destroying everything good. I am new to 3D and hope to make my own life better. If I design something sharing it seems like a good thing to do. Looking at their store it looks like all their items are probably stolen from others.

its sad but think if u have no buisness and lawyer theres not a high chance to do anything… im not sure though maybe the makerworld licence is enough for amazon to react?

Did you have it marked Not For Commercial Use? That is needed to prevent it being used for commercial purposes (without your permission).
There have already been several users who have successfully reported this to Amazon. So no, you don’t need a lawyer. But you do need to describe it in detail and be able to express yourself factually.
It’s also important to have a healthy sense of self-assessment, to determine whether your own design is truly unique. Then it will work. But the truth is also that if you stop one, another will come along.
So don’t be afraid to report it. It doesn’t cost anything and you don’t need a lawyer. However, it might be a good idea to ask a friend or, if necessary, ChatGPT to write a reasonable text without spelling mistakes, emotions, or gibberish.

I don’t have access to that. I wonder if it’s a regional restriction and they have not set that up in the EU.

Report it to maker world, these were made under a commons license and his site rights should be revoked.
