Free Premium Model Coupon

Has anyone figured out how to use this free premium model coupon that comes with your new printer? Spent some time this morning and can’t even see how to search “premium models”.

Saw something on Google where it said to look for “exclusive” tags but that did not help

Not sure if “premium models” is just them using a generic term to use their site because all their stuff is “premium” or if there are actually models that require payment

Is that even a coupon? It may be just describing a class of model here that is considered premium but I’m unaware of any models you have to buy - aside from the kickstarter style crowdfunding thing they are trying out now. But nothing on that card indicates it’s any kind of crowdfunding giveaway.

Maybe someone else knows more?

The models word is plural and they say endless models. I think the thing that they are using to say premium may be that there are print profiles included on most models here which at least are supposed to increase chances of success in printing them if designers have made good choices on print parameters in the print profile.

Exclusives are different. That’s just a marketing thing by Bambu where designers post an exclusive model only on MakerWorld for some amount of lock-in time to drive more traffic here. Designers get more points they can use to buy stuff with or cash out. There is otherwise no difference between exclusive and regular models for the end user that I’m aware of.

It’s just a “hey check out Makerworld for some premium models - also they’re free to download” leaflet.

Yeah an ad for Handy. The only premium models that cost (edit: really? costED??) anything were the tank and castle models that you spent points on in the early days of the site.

Now I think the idea of “premium” is just the featured stuff on MW and that is inviting you to get Handy and download those models through it.

Offline clickbait is it

Yep, you can still buy these too. I keep hoping they’ll turn this feature into something we can use, e.g. list a model for 100 points, if someone buys it then you get 100 points.

After posting that I went back and downloaded them. They are cool models and I agree.

I think that it just trying to get u to download Bambu handy and look at makerworld.

I was a professional child model. I am not sure if premium would have been an appropriate label. I was a cute kid, but life has been cruel and cute is no longer an appropriate label.

I am also not available for download, even if a coupon exists, just saying.

Can’t afford you. I’ve heard you’re high maintenance.

I don’t think that is a coupon. It looks like it is just a leaflet telling you where you can find models to print.

Hahahaha. You made my day :face_holding_back_tears: (and discourse immediately took the joy forcing me to have at least 25 characters of joy)

Yes I think this sums it up the best. A bit of trolling on my part. But I found the

Word “premium” too differentiating to leave it alone.

There is a section called Premium in Maker World. The majority of the models are exclusive.

Hope that helps. So much to do with Bambu Lab is ambiguous and confusing.

Ummm… that is just a random collection named premium

That is not a MW collection made by BL.
The answer to the op question is plain. It was an advertisement to download Handy. Nothing more.
There were 2 models back in the day you could “buy” with points.

For clarity, they still exist.

Find here.

So… this is the Fixumdude Jeep model and is NOT a BambuLabs premium or exclusive.
