G-Code to test build plate

When asking for help, please provide as much information as possible about your inquiry.
Including pictures and detailed information about the print speeds, filament type and settings used will help get the appropriate solutions.

I’ve been having issues with my X1C not finding the build plate marker. This used to be about 1 in 10 times but recently it’s been more like 8 out of 10 times. I cleaned the sensor, tried different plates and put in a ticket. They had me re-seat all of the cables (wow was that a PITA). Now I’d like a way to “test” without having to go through the whole process of starting a print, waiting for things to heat up, purging filament, etc. I’m hoping somebody has and idea for how to run some simple G-Code to simply turn on the machine, check the build plate marker and spit out if it was detected or not. Any ideas? I’ve heard the gcode is m1002 : 11 or something like that but I’m not savvy enough to run it without being worried I’m going to break something. Any help would be great!

@Thermal_Runaway has a good breakdown on most of the specific Gcode Bambu uses.
