Gaps in Vase mode

I’m trying to print a simple cylinder in vase mode to get a tube. 6mm nozzle with .42 layer height and Bambu Studio. The slicer introduces gaps at the based and I’m not clear why. The model shape is a tube that’s auto arranged to the plate.

Try using arcane wall generator

I did. I changed wall generator to Arachne, changed the layer height. I even moved the cylinder below the print plate plane.

Can you send me the file?

I sent the 3mf with the settings I’m using. If you slice it and zoom in on the base of the tube you can see the layer gap.

After a bit of experimentation I believe I was able to mostly solve the problem by setting bottom shell layers to 0

Interesting. I see the same when I reduce Raft layers to 0. I put the raft on there because the cylinder needs something to anchor to. I just printed the tube with 0 Raft, and it prints a brim. Still, shouldn’t it be able to print on a raft? This fix works for me, but I still find the slicer behavior a bit weird. I print vase mode in other slicers with an intact bottom shell without issue.

Thank you for your help!
