Printing Fiberon ASA-CF08 on my P1S, smooth PEI plate, using basically stock babu lab filament profile but flow rate calibrated. The material prints fine no issues other than these small gaps on the first layer which is the layer that I want people to see. I can can’t print upside down or on the textured plate which hides those small gaps. I tried increasing flow rate, first layer speed and over lap and this is the best I could get. Any other suggestions? Thx
I dont have direct experience with the material, but you could try to bump the first layer nozzle temperature up +20C to get it as liquid as the fiber-filled material will want to be
Thank you for the response. I forgot to mention I have increased the nozzle temperature from 275 to 280. Perhaps I should try increasing it another five or 10°. I’ll give that a try. I’m still wondering if it’s even possible to get rid of all of the lines completely.
I get similar with PETG-CF and a carbon-fiber effects smooth-ish plate, and wasn’t able to push the heat far enough to completely get rid of it either. I had good results with heat but at some tipping point everything just started curling off the plate. Those sticker sheet plate things dont have good adherence anyways so I gave up there. 
If you hold at the right angle and zoom in it looks like a disaster, but its smooth to the touch, was very well adhered, flat, etc. I think the fibers do a lot of work in making sure the extrusion is like putty instead of fluid, so gaps are a lot easier to come by
