Hello I am horrified in front a PA test that made me realize the device’s firmware does not have pressure advance activated, so prints just suck. I already tried to print with uniform velocities but it is a failed experiment.
Somebody can direct me toward a tweak for this without going for an aftermarket motherboard ?
Let me say it is insane that someone’s selling stuff like this without a basic firmware feature.
Unfortunately I did not find any information on this printer… I tried to read about other models but they are so different and quite dis homogenous.
Board has a Geehy APM32 E103VET6 controller. I maybe search for relative drivers first
I’m definitely not a Marlin expert, more of a Klipper fan… but I was Googling around and it looks like If it’s stock Marlin and they don’t have it locked down you could do the old fashion pressure advance test and add it to the firmware, but that would get old if you had to do it every time you changed filament.
In the end there are tools to reflash it but honestly I just found it faster to tweak print settings to override the issue (like, printing single objects)
I printed few “twerking halloween ghost” from makerworld and the butt comes quite decently round, not perfect like with the H2D, it has some bands but due to the device I find it acceptable.
In the end I bought the printer because I get bored and between 24 hours prints my hands itch.
