Hey there,
i just printed from generic PLA profile and the printquality got exceptionally…bad! Idk what happened here over the last firmware updates of the X1C and the software updates of Bambu Studio, but to me it looks like the generic profile became unusable.
In the past it just worked, printed prints in decent quality and it was a convenient way to do quick’n’dirty test prints.
…but what i got now is:
- bottom layers and walls not connected, there are big visible gaps
- support structure really is a pain to remove
- saggy lines on bottom layer directly above support structure
i never had such issues using this lazy way of generic profile with Sunluu PLA+ before.
(Sure, i know…i could tweak the profile or use a custom one or a Sunluu provided one. Yet this is not subject of this issue.)
The whole area was fully supported with standard support. All plain standard settings of the 0.2mm profile. The only thing changed was from 2 to 3 walls, nothing else. Officially the worst non-failed print i pulled out of this printer. ![]()
