Good morning everyone, I wanted to ask if there was the possibility of knowing a kind of geolocation of where your projects are downloaded and printed, I’m not saying the city but the Nation. It would be very interesting to know where your projects are most appreciated. I tried to search on the site but I didn’t find anything like it. Do you have any information about it?

I don’t think that that is possible as they promise to keep your data private.
A precise location would the laws of most countries without some opt-in and o doubt the average user would be willing to share that information.
An averaged location down to country is achievable with a certain percentage of error due to not all IP addresses issued to a first country still being used in that country. Then there are VPNs.
As a report, knowing how many in the US vs the U.K. would be of personal interest, if based solely on averaged geo data and original IP addresses not being stored with any other records.
I say this knowing the IP addresses are almost certainly kept, but hopefully for the lawful reasons and only for the minimum allowed.
Then I remember China doesn’t honour the laws of other countries.
If I’m not mistaken, Cults3D already has this option, right? A breakdown of downloads by country doesn’t give you user data. It’s like YouTube statistics.
Thanks for the answers. Obviously I was talking about public statistics on the site and not about information obtained without consent. Too bad because it would have been interesting out of pure curiosity to know in which states our works are appreciated. But I realize that not everyone likes to share this information.

Aggregated data don’t compromise individual privacy. Similar requests have been raised before. They haven’t gotten traction so far probably because these kind of info is nice-to-have, not must-have.
Oh its not about if people like it or not, every single web service on the planet can see your IP address and doing a quick geolocation check is pretty trivial, i doubt this would be considered private as you’re not publicly identifying the users that downloaded it or where they are from but just a general audience location which should be fine
It just takes extra resources and i’m not sure how useful that information is to most people
