this was a different problem than the printer to account rebinding. all of their cloud services were down… but of course no issues reported on their service status page!
the cloud services are back down again, studio and handy both can’t talk to the printers
Not able to use printer services. Binding, remote control, remote print, camera view. Nothing working.
Down for me too. Can’t connect to the cloud services from both Studio and Handy, even though the Bambu Lab Status page shows everything as operational
Update: it’s up now
Yup, services are down and of course no mention of the outage on the bambu service status page
report it to websites like downdetector
Down here as well. Can’t connect to X1C from Bambu Handy or Bambu Studio.
Mine just came back up. Seems I have all services again. US/KY
Status page now reflects the issue and shows they implemented and are monitoring a fix.
X-1 Carbon
I just did a Bambu Studio software update on my laptop and now need the 6-digit code to reconnect to my two printers. The only solution I can find in this forum is to do a factory reset on the printers to get the QR code, though I don’t recall if that code also picture code includes the 6- digit pin required.
This doesn’t seem right.
The X1 series cannot yet provide a 6 digit pin code - that is promised for a future firmware update.
If all you did was update Studio, your printers should still be bound to your account. I first would try going to the home page of Studio to be sure you are actually logged in.
You can get a QR code from the printer for binding with Handy without a factory reset. Go to Settings>Account using the touch screen. Logout if necessary, and then log in again.
Thanks for your help!
Logging back in allowed me to access my printers. It would have been such a simple thing to explain in the Wiki instructions.
fixthisbuildthat’s solution worked for me. Thanks, friend!
How do I get rid of this annoying warning?
As far as I know everything works as it has in the past with the exception of this warning.
I see the filaments, I see the cameras, I can watch it print, The prints seem to come out ok. It does not matter what print I want to print. I even did a factory reset, reinstalled Orca and Bambu slicer I even rebooted my computer prior to restarting any prints. Originally I thought this may have been a problem for an earlier issue I was having. Nothing seems to work.
If as you say everything works, tick the don’t show again box.
I do and every time I start a new print its back
I am new at 3D printing there maybe something wrong but I have not found it yet. I can send prints to the printer and on the printer I check the network settings and everything checks ok there .
Think it could be a chip or something onboard that is faulty
I have the same issue. It started about a week or two ago, not exactly sure when. Checking the “Don’t show this dialog again” box doesn’t prevent the message from appearing again. I suspect this may have to do with a recent update to the Bambu Studio software and my PiHole network ad blocker. Bambu Lab, can you document what new/current tracking URLs need to be allowed for Bambu Studio?
I had the same problem and found that my Orbi and Nighthawk device managers had blocked the default printer name, which I did not recognize.
Add printer to device manager with Bambu xx name and make sure it is not blocked.
