Yet again the checkbox for join customer experience magically re-enabled itself. I think it may be related to using the bambulabs website as I just ordered some filament. a day later i checked the setting and walla… the setting is re-enabled.
fk-it i made a script that auto replaces “privacyuse”: true with “privacyuse”: false in the BambuStudio.conf file every time i use the program.
While I admire that level of resourcfulness, why are you punishing yourself? Make the switch to Orca Slicer, it’s got 99% more quality of life features and NONE of the Bambu Studio BS. Maybe Bambu intentionally named their slicer Bambu Studio(BS) as being appropriate. 
I can live with their desperate desire to get my personal information, as I really don’t care what they get. i just don’t like it when i uncheck something and it just re-checks itself for SnG.
This annoying/self enabling “feature” is the only bs i’ve experienced in BS. otherwise i find the whole bambu metaverse pretty easy to use and less tinkery than i’ve ever experienced before. been printing for 7 years with bed slingers and cura and i love the whole robustness and simplicity of it all now. hell i never even once saved a cura project and it was generally pointless since whenever i wanted to print something i generally had to mess with some settings since the last print. will never go back.

Orcaslicer has been falling behind BS lately. I’m hoping for an updated release to come out soon.
Do Orca Slicer prints count as the Bambu Studio ones? For the point generation I mind.

Looking at Releases · SoftFever/OrcaSlicer · GitHub and merged PRs since 2.1 there’s a good bit of changes coming. Also worth checking are nightly builds.
I guess that’s the 99% more quality of life features… I’ll stick with BS and their bs.
