The review process after you try to use points to get a gift card is so frustrating. I create models in fusion, then upload them with pictures etc. When I tried to get the first gift card, there was a review. They took down a bunch of profiles because of no ‘real’ pictures, completely ignoring the fact I was the creator of the model, and had them all posted to the model’s page and it’s the only print profile available. All of my appeals were denied because apparently I only provided after-the-fact proof. It takes an extra level of the world is only black and white to deny the appeal. I have no idea how someone can be so daft, but apparently, it is a common competency at BL after the events of the last week.
Yeah i get that, but it’s super dumb. I forgot to upload them because adding pictures to the print profile requires uploading the photos to my computer instead of uploading them from my phone like I can with the original profile.
I usually do this the next time I remember, but I forgot since it’s delayed and still tedious.
LOL in what world is it a hard connection to see the model created by me, with only one profile… Are you guys all accountants that every rule must be followed 100% exactly or everything falls apart? If the process of adding photos to print profile was the same as the model, it wouldn’t matter, but their UI is poor causing the extra steps.
they should get the accounting people on the first verification team, since that is a step with nothing occurring. If rules are only enforced when BL is at risk of having to spend money it’s poorly implemented.
The enforcement is usually reactive, not pro-active. So - if you’re not waiting for giftcard in verification jail and your rule-breaking stuff gets nuked, that means someone snitched. But when you’re in the verification jail, they do comb over and make sure you’re spotless (or at least what they can find in limited time span with limited knowledge)
They do not even seem to do anything about reports. I reported a model which broke at least 2 people’s hot ends and nothing happened for over 2 weeks. (I reported it after 1 person broke their hot end, and another’s broke before the creator finally responded to a message) somehow the app’s print profile had the support layers get so much higher than the model that the nozzle was hitting the models as it moved by.
