Are you copying and pasting the code?

Remember, for me, I’m in the U.K. and I swapped to the US store to purchase the gift cards.
I received US gift cards, they were spent in the US store.
If you did this for a different territory store, you can only do it if you swap to that store first.

the accounts are friends account from same country and live like 1h from me max … i just click the button copy on the makerworld then i send it to them same wway i hit copy and paste for me . there is a button on them to check status and copy the code thats what i do then i hit paste
i also tried on the phone app and on the website with a computer for the transactions. didnt work. im in canada and taking canadian cards. thanks
I can’t say why they aren’t working. I don’t know if Canada site is any different but I doubt it.
Are you certain they are logged into the CA store? Other than that it may be time to open a ticket and get the profesionals involved.
yes i am sure i did try it myself… they can buy cards use their own but not mine… we all live in same country and town so idk ? ive tried another friend as well last night wondering if there was a bug… nope all my friends dont work. ive even tried their gift cards instead of mine to see if it would work reverse and it didnt
Well that isn’t kind, I’m sure your friends work fine.
It is possible different territories have restrictions that those in the U.K. or US do not have.
Create a ticket and ask.

Both of us are in US. I can redeem the GC in my own account. Just not a different account.
I have not done it recently.
I am aware there are “things” going on in the background that may bring the ability to share them to a close.
If we can’t share them, I wish it’s not a stupid 40 dollars gc code. Just add to my account as credit. right?
Sorry I have tried to buy gift cards from us and send the code to my friend, it did work perfectly fine. but when i take gift cards from the same country as i live in it wont let me transfer them from one person to another.
Yes, GC’s are now locked to the account that redeemed them.
so only US is locked now?
If it’s locked to account I wish they can switch it to account credit so that it’s easier to use.
Today was the first time that gift card codes failed to work on a different account.
Both accounts are set to the EU region, and all gift cards still had their full balance available.
I also noticed that the checkout page appears to have changed — it now seems to require an apartment number, which wasn’t mandatory before.
They were only meant to be locked it you added them to a checkout, even if you then chose not purchase.
The act of adding them to the checkout process was the only way they were meant to be locked to the account.
As we were told:
Unlocked
The gift card should still be unlocked
Locked
The gift card is now locked.
I saw some people talk about this just yesterday on Facebook too - that it was working before but not anymore. I wondered if it was the case in Europe too.
Can confirm that my gift card codes also no longer work on other accounts. They worked ~2 weeks ago and not anymore. The codes were not previously entered to my cart check-out. EU store.

I only have one account, today I exchanged points for a card with a new number starting with “PSE”, which I can’t add at checkout. All other codes work, but with this new one I get an error “Enter a valid discount code or gift card”
