just figured out this useful trick. in your (windows) folder:
C:\Users\yourusername\AppData\Roaming\BambuStudio\system\BBL\filament\
there are a bunch of ……@base.json files. These text files contain the default information for all filament profiles. So for example there is a “Bambu PLA Basic @base.json” file in there that is used for all PLA profiles. You can edit this file, change the “filament_cost,” and all Bambu PLA filaments will reflect the new price. Very useful as you’ll never need to save a custom profile and switch to it EVERY time you sync with the AMS or load an online model.
Note: when editing these files, it’s probably best to do so when Bambu Studio is closed.
I suppose it may get overwritten at some point with an update, but it’s worth just fixing it again if it does…
