Glue for sharp corners lifting from bed (PLA and textured plate)

Hi. So even though 10mm brim and 0mm brim-object gap seemed to help a lot, I am still experiencing slight lifting at corners from bed when printing a thick part with sharp corners. My filament is PLA and both initial and other layers printing temps are 220° and both initial and other layers bed temps are 55°. I am using Bambu’s textured plate. Should I try using glue on the plate and which glue (I’ve read that liquid glue is better than stick?) do you guys prefer? Are there other things I can try?

Drying the filament and giving the plate a couple of really good, deep scrubs resolves most warping issues when keeping the build chamber at 30-35°C.

Next are usually mouse ears and checking for drafts and edge effects (big prints).

Regarding settings, increased 1st layer (only!!!) Temps can help a little for adhesion while warping can be countered by lowering speeds and/or layer heights at the cost of printing time.

With dry PLA, a really clean plate and a controlled chamber temp, glue should not really be needed unless the print is very large. In that later case, warping can lead to the build plate lifting off the heat bed rather than the print lifting off the build plate.

Thank you.
Would mouse ears be a better choice than a full brim in this case? Never tried it will try next time.
Should I increase the bed temperature of first layer or nozzle temperature (or both)? Would +5 degrees be enough?

Yes, 5°C on the bed is enough. On the nozzle, you can increase by 10°C. But limit the increase to the 1st layer only. If subsequent layers are printed hotter, warping will actually be worse.

Also, make sure that the filament is really dry. I use edge curling/warping as my first warning sign of moisture in the filament. H2O really messes with the thermal properties of filament, especially the cool down. Edge curling happens well before any other moisture indicating defects like stringing or increased sagging.

I would turn off the AUX fan and if you have the printer in a cool room also turn down the chamber fan. That is the cause of most warping issues with PLA, AUX fan is only needed for tiny objects. Also using a Kdeavi or Frostbite type plate can help as it has much better adhesion, no need for brims on those.

Yeah my Aux fan is turned off and Exhaust fan is at %20. That gives me a chamber temp between 34-36°.

If you looking for the best adhesive IMHO its nano polymer. Although since I got the Kdeavi and Glacier plates I have not needed to use it yet on H2D.

Are there any smooth plates you use with the H2D? I want to buy the Glacier it’s not available yet where I live.

Just the bambu smooth PEI for polycarbonate, and the Kdeavi cool plate for PLA/PETG/ABS/ASA its my most used plate by far. Its not totally smooth its got a light texture and the grip is amazing.
