I would appreciate some guidance. Today I was cleaning the lead screws. I was manually running the bed up and down to facilitate this. But forget that I had a flashlight in the very bottom of the printer to light up the rear lead screw. Anyway, I drove the bed down onto the flashlight. The printer emitted some nasty noises. I completed the greasing. Then performed the utilities ‘Device self-test’ and ‘Calibrate’ Both successful. The bed height now appears to be calibrated. Is there anything else that I should inspect? Thanks!
You may want to have a look at the top of the lead screws and check that they are all at the same height and the tiny silicone caps still present.
The lead screws like to pop up when being too enthusiastic during cleaning.

No, you should be fine. If you ever print something tall enough that it leaves the bed at the bottom of the chamber, when you start the next print the bed will try and go down and make those same nasty noises.

Yeah, you’re fine. When a stepper motor gets jammed, it just doesn’t step anymore. It makes a terrible sound, but it’s just the motor being “frustrated”.
In extreme cases you might strip some teeth off the belt. If the printer’s calibration didn’t detect it, it’d be immediately evident when you start a print, because the printer will lose steps constantly due to belt slippage.
That’s the worst-case scenario - need a new belt.
