Got the H2D Connect qty 3 AMSs dumb Short Cable

I want to connect the 2 “old” AMSs to my H2D, but the cable is sooo short. I had to put a carboard box under my two “old” AMSs on that stand that I printed. The 6 pin cable is sooo short. I have the AMS 2 on the left and two “old” AMSs on the right. They seem to work fine fed into the splitter, though I have done very much filament changes in the last day and a half.

Do you all have any shelf ideas to make it work?? Maybe a triple decker stand?

It should all go to the left side. You can get the longer version of 6pin cable from bambu if you don’t have one

I know they are ridiculously short. You can get a 6 pin cable that is 1500mm (almost 5 feet) here:

that one safe to use on the ams 2 / ht? they specifically don’t mention them and also sell a similar but says its specifically for the ams 2 / ht here:

it’s shorter though

Hmmm that version of the 6 pin cable is 1100mm. I’d just buy the 6pin 1500mm one and assume it will work. It’s only $6 and it plugs into the same place.

On one of the wiki pages it says you should not use the old cables on the new AMS2 but you can use the new cable on the old units.

Maybe it has something to do with larger wires in the cable for power when drying without a power supply? I don’t know. Thats all I can think of. If that’s it, it should be fine if you have a power supply. But this is my guess.

Thanks for this. Ive been using old cables because I didnt see a warning. Almost seems like there should be a sticker on the ams that says this.

Lol, on the floor! I must be too old!!!
