Hi, I have had my Bambu H2D for 3 days now and have done a bunch of smaller PLA prints, all of them came close to perfect (See attachments below). Those have been done in Bambu PLA Blue and Fillamentum PLA White.
However I printed this filament poop bucket in Bambu ABS, fresh out of the box, and had some issues with this particular print.
- The flat walls have some warping/sagging, but I assume that is to be expected at this size. I know from my DIY enclosed Ender that big walls in ABS will warp and sag a bit.
- The artifacts around the text, I assume them to be a slicing issue where it picked the wrong place to add a seam and it’s more pronounced this way?
- What is going on with the overhang? It is barely 45 degrees and it doesn’t look great.
I have sliced it using default Bambu ABS settings, heated chamber 65C, bed 90C, and 270C on the nozzle.
First layer went down perfectly (as expected by now) and did not warp.
Any recommendations? Am I just expecting too much out of ABS? Although it was out of the packaging, is it possible that the ABS was moist? Thank you!
