To answer your question, does it bother anyone? Believe me brother, on the list of things that Bambu does wrong or is just plain customer-hostile, this one falls very far down the list.
But let me introduce you to the Chinese term that Bambu clearly operates under, it’s called “Chabuduo” (差不多) or loosely translated “close enough”. It means that they will cut corners to deliver the minimal viable product(MVP) or service knowing that most of us want quality but most of us won’t pay a lot more for it so it becomes a race to the bottom to see who can create the cheapest part that still works… barely. So in the scheme of it all, Grey or Gray, Color or Colour, as far as Bambu is concerned, they have your money and you don’t so that is the Chabuduo way.
All kidding aside, when was the last time you caught a Chinese company use spell check? The fact that Bambu’s Wikipedia is world-class is a miracle on the scale of the loaves and fishes of biblical times. So they expect us to be grateful for being so kind as to provide us an actual user guide that is helpful even if they have inconsistent spelling.
