- I have recently did some maintenance on my P1S which consisted of lubricating and cleaning pulleys etc. Suddenly the printer started making the noise in the video attached. Does anyone have any ideas about what the issue might be and if there are any fixes? Thanks

You’re using gyroid or cross hatch, at a fairly dense infill. It’ll make those noises from time to time. Unless you took it apart and put something together wrong you can’t really cause much harm. Maybe over lubricate, wipe off too much, but I don’t hear anything that would cause alarm.
So its a normal thing? Im using gyroid at 12% infill. It just surprised me as its fairly loud thats why.
Depends on the speed, the infill.
Print again. If you hear that same sound in the same place then there’s something to investigate. Listen closely to it. It should sound like the metal to plastic, or just plastic.
I don’t believe you could have affected the z unless you took something off, or moved the bed manually (which is a bit hard to do without moving the z belt it’s self).
What I heard sounded normal. I do, as always, reserve the right to be wrong.
On large parts it’s annoying, but on smaller parts that will knock them off the plate.
Try asking AI about your issue. It gave me some things to try with retraction settings.
I was printing some flexi animals that kept coming off. I looked at one of the failed parts with a magnifier and the gyroid infill was definitely above the current layer. It was suggested to try Crosshatch infill.
