Grooves on the first layer of the print. (P2S)

Hi,
I’m trying to get rid of the lines marked with red circles on the first layer of the print. The issue appears mainly in the center of the print. Near the edges and at the joints of the graphics, it looks fine.

Do you have any suggestions on what settings I should adjust so that the lines blend together?

Initial layer nozzle temp: 230 (220 is standard)

First, I would recommend cleaning your print bed with isopropyl alcohol (or dish soap if that doesn’t work) as those little circular bits that look worse can be caused by finger prints.

The nozzle might also be too high. Even though it might look fine in some areas I would still recommend lowering it. If you aren’t on the latest firmware update, do that, and then go to settings → first layer calibration. This is the description and image from the Bambu Wiki firmware change log:

I would start off with lowering it by 0.02mm or so. I did that on my P2S and never had first layer problems again.

So I agree with @Impeller_Warehouse those are finger prints.

Some additional thought’s though:

Are you using virgin filament?

  1. I’ve used cheep filament and recycled filament.
  2. I’ve had issues with both.
    1. Higher bed and nozzle’s temps have helped with the cheep filament.
    2. On recycled filament…
      1. Well I loose about 10% to 15% of the spool to the printer clearing a contaminated filament. It’s just a thing you live with if you are going to use recycled.
      2. Sometimes I get spaghetti with recycled, but that always started on the first layer and it’s easy to spot. if there are print gaps on the first layer, I cancel the print, clean the bed, and up the bed heat.
