Cadillac F1 using what I’m guessing is an H2 Pro to print some minor parts for the car at Silverstone in pre season 2026

I had a 97 C5 that I swapped for an 02 Z06, that I then added a Vortech supercharger to it. Drove it for 18 years before selling. Far as I know it’s still on the road. Gotta be pushing 150K by now. TBT, hauling myself out of the car (getting in was easy as falling down) was starting to be work, and my wife hated the C5s from the day I got the 97. But with 600HP in a 3100LB car, the Z06 went like stink. I bought the CTS-V in 2014, a manual transmission coupe (figured that was the least Cadillac of any available style of Cadillac ). I’ve been work-from-home for the last 10 years, so the Coupe doesn’t even have 50K miles on it. Haven’t felt the need to trade it in on something new. Especially since you can no longer get a manual transmission in a 2 door. I’d do a wagon (Vagon) if they still did one, in spite of the four doors. But driving a sedan is a turnoff. It’d kind of “bruise my chi”.
F1 teams have been traveling with 3D printers for years - but usually in the past they were powder bed fusion machines.
With the H2 series and materials like PPA-CF they could be producing some pretty decent parts for non-critical applications, so this is nice to see!
