Hi All,
Apologies if this has already been answered, but I didnt find ‘clear’ answers (unless I misread).
I am wanting if anyone has been able to find ‘optimal’ settings on the bambu suite to engrave on the Bambu Lab stainless tumblers? I have a H2D (upgraded to H2C with Vortek) using a 10W laser and rotary. Unfortunately I keep getting one or all of the following: yellow tinge or discolouration on the engraving, you can see the engraving markings where the lettering is hazy or there appears to be some kind of ‘shadowing’ effect after the engraving has finished. See the attached for my last settings. Tried to slow the engraving down to get a clean print, but I’m obviously doing something wrong. Anyone have any tips?
Thanks everyone!
Try turning on air assist and increasing the speed, I have a 40w so not sure about 10w, have you checked for difference in your settings vs Bambu stock settings?
Hi Jaybo,
Appreciate the reply. Stock Bambu settings barely made an indent into the tumbler - almost like a black outline of a logo if you will, hence why I started playing with the settings. That tumbler started being my ‘test subject’
Haven’t quite managed to suss out a nice balance, however I will try what you suggested and report back. Mostly likely sometime tomorrow. Thanks again!
I have a 40W laser on my H2C and can’t seem to get the tumblr etching to not look like garbage. Either it’s like not all the way through the material or doesn’t remove the material, or looks burnt and not etched at the same time.
Does anyone have good go to settings for the laser and the tumblrs from Bambu?
Sorry all.. I have been away for work for an extended period of time. Flying back home late tomorrow evening, so will try to test my 10W laser and see we go. All going well, should do some testing on Wednesday, my time. Thanks everyone!
