H2C and Filament Track Switch question

I have a question about the Filament Track Switch.
As the slicing determines how prints go I have the the following scenario:
I have the H2C and I wanted smooth surfaces for this print where the supports are.

Solely connected to the left nozzle is a single AMS HT and I have the white PETG for support loaded. The remaining 4 PLA colors are divided over 2x AMS 2 Pro’s (less swapping for less wear and tear of the AMS PTFE tubing). The 2x AMS 2 Pro’s are connected with the 4-1 adapter to the right Induction nozzle inlet.
At about layer 419 of 677 no more supports are needed and this leaves the left nozzle doing nothing for the rest of the print.
If I where to connect 1x AMS 2 Pro and the AMS HT with a PTFE adapter to 1 inlet of the Filament Tracks Switch and the other AMS 2 Pro to the other inlet will the slicer be smart enough to swap to a color when the PETG support material is no longer needed?
I get that this will need to purge extra to get the nozzle clean but hey, i do not care just as long as the nozzle is used.
As it now stands the last 2 colors are swapped constantly on the right induction nozzle which is a 40s cycle every swap.
If the left nozzle where to be utilized it would be a 7-8s swap.

Anyone know if it would work this way?

Do you mean that one of the color would switch from left to right mid-print?

That would be a great feature but I don’t think the slicer/switch can work like that. You select which color goes where at the beginning of the print but I don’t think it can decide and change nozzle on its own during a print. This could be something in the future if that can be coded for it but don’t know how difficult this would be.

You could do it manually though if you have 2 spools of that particular color. You add a filament change in the slicer with a random color after the last support material, you select a slot and the nozzle but you trick the slicer in putting the same color spool in that slot.

That would be a great idea I guess and should be possible to teach the slicer that if support layers end move one of the colors to the unused nozzle if the connected ams and hts allow this. But Slicer could detect and tell you where to place which filament for best and fastest way.

Yes, the slicer will try to assign nozzles in that manner, I have had prints where the same filament were used in both the left and right nozzle depending on what other colors were needed at the time.
