I bought my H2C printer. I’ve been printing for about 1-2 weeks. After 1 week, it gave a filament loading error. There is wear on the front guide of the extruder. I noticed that the rough filament coming out of the extruder with each filament change is causing this wear. I have attached photos. After only 1-2 weeks of use, the side connected to the vortex started to deform. I use Esun, Sunlu and Creality brand filaments.While searching for the problem, I searched on YouTube and found dozens of part replacement videos for H2D that use the same part. I think that for such an expensive printer, they should have made this part out of metal or used a better, more robust design.
The distributor in my country is also out of stock of this part. I hope it’s not for the reason I think.
I think the quality of the materials used in the guide is low. Is anyone else experiencing this problem? Or am I the lucky one?
It’s nice to share 4 pictures, but they all show the same, and also from the same angle. So hard to judge the exact deformation.
I have 1300+ run hours on my H2D which basically uses the same filament guide, So either you have very abrasive filament used (Glow Filaments are famous for their destructive behavior) or possibly something is misaligned, and is causing this.
I have a spare ordered already a very long time agon, and not needed it so far.
I understand that, but all your images are shot straight from the top and show some abrasion like markings around the holes, but I don’t see any depth in that. For that I need an angled view on the holes. In the last pictures I can’t see the holes at all.
A kind of isometric view is what I am looking for.
