The H2C right nozzles have memory remembering what filament it last used, to minimize unnecessary purges. (or it might just have the serial number and that info is actually kept by the printer).
In any case, after you perform a maintenance cold pull, which results in basically the nozzle being empty, that information is not reset, and the printer still thinks there is, for example, blue PETG in it.
It doesn’t lead to a real problem I could create (as in a new print it seems to flush upon loading filament anyhow), it is more of an annoyance right now.
It would be nice to have it show “clean” or “cold pulled” or “empty”.
Agreed in general i think one of the stronger points for the h2c that i think both the left and right nozzles have readable serial numbers and bambu can even save info into the induction nozzles. Keeping track and reporting back to the slicer and us should be done much better. They should implement a ‘history’ of the nozzles use like number of hours, if its clean (after a cold pull), what material has been used on it etc etc… This is a area where they can move ahead of what other brands are doing and on the first release they didn’t. I am giving them more time to implement this but would be nice if they would comment on if this where they are going.
