Looks like the max chamber temp on H2C has been raised. Although on printer the max is 65c and the enhanced cooling fan is said to add 3c, the actual max temp is 70c. You can actually set up to 80c in filament profiles but it will drop to 70c on printer when the job is sent.
Ok but my question is were we not already having problems at 65
Some people were having problems with the cooling fan, but I had no issues on my H2D with 2500+ hours, about 50% of those high temp printing at 65c.
Do you have the new or old heat sink design may I ask
It was an early H2D, ordered on day 1, not sure which heat sink it had, safe to assume rev 1.
I usually print at 60–65 °C, and my hotend cooling fan failed—along with a few other fans—after only five months of use.
In my experience, even sustained operation at 65 °C can cause issues, likely because the printer runs almost 24/7 at that temperature.
All fans used by Bambu Lab are rated for 50,000 hours at just 40 °C, so they may degrade faster under higher thermal stress.
How was you able to set temp?.is it through slicer? Material profile or?
The problem with the high temp warning for the mc module stems from operating the printer with a 65°c chamber temp in the upper range of the recommended ambient temps. It’s easily mitigated though with additional cooling to the electronics chamber or lowering the ambient temp in the printers area.

I got the warning yesterday printing bambu abs. Printer in 24c environment.
Despite what others say the issue is from printing near max height objects on the right side of a build plate. It only comes on once an object is like 300mm high.
Sounds wierd if that is a bug. I wonder if they forgot to put in an interlock to enable 70c only if you’ve got one of those fancy toolhead fans.
