I hope someone can help me here? I had an incident with a ball of filament built up around my left hot end nozzle on my H2C. It was so massive that when trying to remove it (heat gun, and trying to be careful, I broke one of the wires on the left hot end heating assembly. I ordered replacement so decided to remove the old one ahead of the new one arriving. There is a small metal sliding piece that I have no clue if it is in the right orientation? It appears to slide and it attached magnetically. It has 3 holes on the end. Can anyone tell me if this is in the right position as is (see photos with red box around it). I don’t see
this in any of the replacement instructions on the wiki… and unclear what it attached to or ?
Thanks for any guidance!
I don’t have this printer and the photo angles make me feel drunk.
You mentioned it moves.
Is it the swing bar that covers the nozzle bit in use to prevent oozing?
Actually in rechecking the wiki instructions I found it, it is the insulation plate but
there is mention about what to do with it after. So thus my confusion. still a little unclear about it mount it between the plate and the main body or not.
I believe it’s the part just on the left of the left nozzle with the screws at the back. It looks like a deflector plate for the fan please see circled image of my hot end
Wow. thanks , It all makes sense now. The video sort of skips over any details but now can see. really appreciate it.
Thanks. Ira
