I’m about to purchase a H2C. Are there any consumable/spare parts that would be good to have on hand?
Buy 2 more .4 nozzles, that way you have a full set. The H2C comes with a good bit of spare consumables IMO. I only have 300 hours on mine so not to sure what it may need down the road.
The package is pretty comprehensive. I’d recommend the mentioned additional induction hot ends and ensure that you have at least one AMS2 to make the most of it. I also like my additional Engineering plate (and glue stick), but that’s pretty much the basics.
Approaching 1400h on mine. Some initial loose cables in the AMS HT and one of my two AMS2 is a Friday afternoon model, but the printer is pretty cool with little, easy maintenance so far.

The things I keep on hand:
- PTFE tubes
- Dual Extruder Idlers and Filament Sensor
- Induction Hotend Silicone Sleeve
- Silicone Sock for regular hot ends
- Dual Extruder Filament Guide
- Dual Extruder Gears
- Nozzle Offset Calibration Sensor
The extruder gear has now been improved. I had to replace mine which unglued between gear and extruder wheel but the one on my H2C has an improved design. I think it was mentionned in an other topic but BL added a lock pin that goes through both gear and wheel so they won’t separate any longer. You might need your replacement gear down the road for other reason but not that one, I don’t think we need to stock gear anymore ![]()

I’ll add the same: extra white and gray PTFE tubing and nozzle boots.
