Hello
The often mentioned AMS and filament torture while printing with the H2C and multiple colors concerns me and kept me from buying a H2C. Reasons for failures with my X1C are mostly related to the AMS or purge clogs in multicolor print.
In one review someone mentioned, with 2 Colors/Filament the H2C behaviors like a “normal” printer… All reviews focus on full multicolor prints and also often mention, that the AMS2 is the weak point of this system.
So my question to H2C users: When only 2 filaments are used (2 colors or 2 types for support), what is the real behavior of the printer in the right vortek nozzle? Does the filament is kept completely loaded while not in use during print? No cutting, retracting in the right Vortek nozzle while left nozzle is printing. Like a 2 headed toolchanger.
Or is it still pulling back the unused filament from right nozzle during left nozzle printing? What are your observations for this use case with only 2 colors or filaments?
For my use case (i mostly use 2 colors or 2 filaments) this will make a significant difference in complexity during prints or in expected wear on the system.
Many thanks in in advance.
