I not sure whether I’m asking too much of it with the geometry being really thin.
I’m printing a battery cover and getting pretty wild z banding when using the left nozzle as support petg interface.
You can clearly see the lines in the part where the material has swapped over.
Is this just the nature of the beast with the part being so thin as it looks like it’s slightly warping? So the bending from cooling down when filament swapping is causing z banding.
This pic shows the warping and where the support interfaces are.
Any ideas please? I can’t print it flat because I need flex / strength in the tab.
Sometimes it helps if you can upload the 3mf so people can play with it, they might be able to come up with some better suggestions.
Also people are probably going to want to look at the layer speeds/timings visually.

I guess you printed it upright for stability reasons of your locker mechanism.
For these thin parts I still would print them flat on the surface and try to use material with supposedly strong layer adhesion like Bambu’s PLA Tough+.
I personally haven’t tried it yet (got a few spools delivered yesterday) but in the past I had been using the rather similar Fiberlogy’s impact PLA and I’m nearly certain it would have been strong enough for this kind of part even when printing it flat.
